About Missy Quick

Black and white headshot of a young white woman mid laugh. She has shoulder-length, curly hair and wears a black shirt.

Missy can’t save the world, but she can at least make a piece of it better by designing interventions for systemic change at institutions people love to hate. She’s curious about mundane misfortunes, knowing that there’s opportunity for change hidden behind the bureaucracy that causes them. She grounds her practice in history, invests in relationships with stakeholders on every side, and makes ideas tangible through collaboration.

After working across several industries including advertising, tech startups, and healthcare, she is currently pursuing a MFA in Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons in New York City.

Outside of work you can find her cuddled up with her cat and a book, or roaming New York to find the best chocolate chip cookies in the city.
